ZeroCash is a new decentralized anonymous payment (DAP) system. It is an extension of decentralized ledger-based system like Bitcoin and solves the anonymity problem in those systems by use of efficient implementations of Zero-Knowledge Proofs. I'll start with a high-lever theoretical overview of Bitcoin and time permitting will go into theoretical considerations of implementing ZK proofs.
