The traditional CS
programming
contest was held for the 13th time in a row on Monday, July
2, 201
8, sponsored by Google
and Microsoft.
Fifty two participation of 1
8
teams
received 10 different problems and wrote 80 solutions
in 5 hours.
Final standings for the competition:
1st place - Golden Medal (for the 2nd time in a row,
Team 18, solved 10 problems:

The students are all graduates of the Competitive Programming workshop, directed
by Nofar Carmeli, Aviram Magen and Yufei Zheng,
who also
organized the contest
, supervised by
Prof. Gill Barequet. The winning team will represent the faculty and the Technion in the prestigious programming contest
ACM/ICPC, to be held in Paris in November 201
8.
