Researchers at the Technion and their colleagues abroad have succeeded in breaking down Intel's innovative security wall, Intel SGX. The breakthrough will be presented at the USENIX Security 18 conference in Baltimore on August 15-17.

The researchers are Prof. Mark Silberstein of the Viterbi Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Marina Minkin, a graduate student in the faculty of Computer Science, who conducted the research together with their colleagues from Adelaide, Michigan (USA) and KU Leuven (Belgium). The study also involved Technion graduates Ophir Weiss and [CS graduate] Dr. Daniel Genkin.
