On Wednesday, June 30, 2021 CS held a Fellowships and Diploma Ceremony for Excellent Students in The Technion Henry and Marilyn Taub Computer Science (SAMBA)Faculty, in honor of the donating families, the winning students and their guests.

Prof. Eitan Yaakobi hosted the event and congratulated the winning students on their achievements and Dean Prof. Dan Geiger congratulated and granted the diplomas. Mr. Israel Abramovich, Ms. Nurit Lavi and Mr. Eitan Shevet spoke on behalf of the donating families and in memory of Yosefa Abramovich, Assaf Lavie and Guy Shevet. Each of the granted students amused the guests with a personal witty speech and thanked the donating families.

The fellowships were awarded this year to recipients in 2020 and 2021, generously granted as follows:

The Yosefa Abramovich Foundation, founded by Elbit Systems, fellowships to Yoav Ben-Eli, Daniel Nur, Liran Ringel and Elad Ron in memory of Mrs. Yosefa Abramovich. The diploma was presented by Mr. Israel Abramovich and his children Hilli and Talor.

The Check Point Technologies Assaf Lavie Foundation granted fellowships to Lior Bakal, Amihai Habusha, Natan Cohen, Tom Feldman, Eyal Kushnir, Badea Marjieh, Matan Mirbach, Tomer Shalit, Niv Sulimany, Yagel Meir, Yonatan Ziskind, The diploma was presented by Ms Nurit and Gadi Lavie.

The NVIDIA Guy Shevet Foundation granted fellowships to Alon Alfasi, Alon Kitin, Sapir Tubul, Hen Kas-Sharir, Yuval Reshef and Omer Yerushalmi, The diploma was presented by Eitan and Anat Shevet, and the family relative Mrs. Iris Kagan.
