The Taub Faculty of Computer Science News and Announcements
Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Keren who joined the Faculty of Computer Science at the Technion. Its main areas of research are artificial intelligence with an emphasis on efficient design of multi-agent AI systems and multi-robot systems.
Sarah completed a master's and doctoral degree in information management engineering at the Technion, under the supervision of Prof. Avigdor Gal and Prof. Erez Karpas, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Harvard University, under the supervision of Prof. Barbara Gross and Prof. David Perks. She completed her third year at Harvard as part of a joint appointment with the School of Engineering and Computer Science
at the Hebrew University, where she worked under the supervision of Prof. Jeff Rosenstein.
Sarah's research focuses on building a set of theoretical and applied tools that support and encourage collaborations between autonomous AI agents and robots, as well as between AI agents and humans. This, using a variety of tools that include automated design and model-based inference, reinforcement learning in multi-agent systems and hierarchical design of robots.
Welcome and good luck to Sarah!
