About 130 students and 50 mentors - members of associations, people with
disabilities, engineers and technologists from industry and the faculty
participated in the Hackathon at the Technion CS Department. The challenge:
developing applications and technological solutions for the benefit of people
with disabilities. The products are intended to improve the quality of life of
at least 17% of the Israeli population - with physical, mental or cognitive
disabilities.
