Amal Hihi, 21, from Horfis, is an undergraduate student at the faculty.
She recently won a hackathon held at the faculty with a particularly original solution designed to help people experiencing stress or anxiety.
And what was the idea that brought her the first place? She said: "Therapy through cooking in VR glasses, virtual reality. There is music in the background and a virtual natural environment that you choose." And why did Hihi choose the act of cooking? She explained: "According to studies we have seen, focusing on food preparation helps relieve anxiety and stress, and you can connect to better experiences, thus developing a sense of personal competence."
