The Israeli startup Deci, acquired by Nvidia, is accelerating the company's growth. The founders of Deci are Prof. Ran El-Yaniv, a faculty member, Dr. Yonatan Geifman, a doctoral graduate at the faculty, and Jonathan Eliel.
Deci has developed technology to "shrink" creative artificial intelligence language models - which allows those models to be run using less computing power. Deci helps shrink the number of parameters and bits used for the operation of language models, so that in effect they make the processing of artificial intelligence operations faster, with a lower demand for processing power.
