Twins Harel and Netanel Belay live together and study together at the Technion as part of the "Lapidim" excellence program and the Academic Reserve's Psagot program
Harel and Netanel Belay are 20-year-old twins who study together at the faculty in two prestigious programs - the Lapidim excellence program and the Academic Reserve's Psagot program. "We knew we wanted to do a degree in computer science and specifically at the Technion, which is considered one of the leading institutions in the country in this field, and we wanted to serve in a place where we could realize our potential in the army.."
They grew up in Rishon LeZion and studied in separate classes in elementary school, but in middle school and high school they already studied together in a master/gifted class in software engineering and physics. They graduated from high school with distinction both academically and socially. "Studying as twins in the same class was a meaningful experience for us, "says Netanel, "and it had many advantages. We always collaborated and studied together. Of course, we competed with each other, but in the end, the competition only pushed us to improve.
