The Taub Faculty of Computer Science News and Announcements
Wednesday, December 26, 2007
On December 23rd, 2007, Technion’s Computer Science Faculty held its second Alumni Reunion, dedicated to alumni who graduated during 1990-1995. 300 alumni attended the meeting in the Taub building, where they heard updates from the Technion Vice President and the CS Dean. They also heard a technological presentation from PhD candidate Mark Silberstein on the Superlink Project and a fascinating talk on Israel’s next startup industry by entrepreneur Shai Agassi, himself a CS faculty alumnus. The reunion featured a festive dinner and musical entertainment by Sonia’s Jazz trio. The alumni were able to meet old friends and wax nostalgic about the good old days at the Technion. Many of the CS faculty who taught the alumni during those years were on hand to greet their ex-students. Pictures and memories from the reunion may be found
