The open day of the Technion took place on Thursday, February 28. Hundreds of visitors came to know better the faculty of computer science by receiving information from faculty and student attendants. Prof. Reuven Bar-Yehuda gave a general overview of the faculty, and Prof. Ron Kimmel and Shaul Markovitch gave lectures about their research projects. An exceptionally large number of visitors attended these lectures, so that the first lecture had to be given twice. Presentations and demos of the faculty labs received much attention as well.
