On Thursday, 6.3.08, a symposium in memory of Professor Moshe Israeli took place in the department, one year after his premature passing away. Guests from Israel and from the United States, renowned scientists, Moshe's students, friends and family, all gathered to tell his scientific and personal story – in lectures, in stories, in presentations and personal conversations. Thus we came to learn something of the impressive wealth that Moshe carried with him, and to celebrate the life of this wise and much loved man.   [Back to the news index]
