On Sunday, November 9th, the CS department celebrated the change of deans and the opening of the school year. During the ceremony, speeches were carried by both the former dean, Prof. Oded Shnmueli; who is serving now as the vice president for research, and the new dean, Prof. Eli Biham. In addition to congratulating Prof. Shmueli, the new dean expressed his wishes that the coming school year will be free of problems such as wars and strikes. The dean welcomed our new faculty member, Dr. Tomer Shlomi, and our postdocs and guests. In addition, the excellent employee award was given to Hadas Heier and Izik Elron.[Back to the news index]
