On Thursday, December 26, 2009, the Computer Science Department
hosted an open day for potential graduate students. The events included a Q&A session with the Dean,
Prof.
Eli Biham
and the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Prof.
Danny Raz,
Prof.
Michael Elad gave a talk on his research:
"Atomic Decomposition of Information - New Approaches in Image Processing"
and
Ph.D. student
Sivan Bercovici gave a
talk on his research on "Atomic Decomposition of Data - Recent Trends in Image Processing".
Many of the participants showed interest and some registeted to Spring Semester 2010.
