The German Research Institute "Hasso Plattner" established a branch at the Technion, in collaboration with Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Departments. This is the second extension institute located outside Germany and second to the South Africa branch established a year ago. The institute, founded by Haso Plattner, who was one of SAP's establishers, explores and teaches organization calculation systems.
