Among over 400 top researchers selected in the
European
Research Council's third prestigious 'Starting Grant' competition, two
winners are CS Faculty members:
Prof. Amir Shpilka,
for his project on "Lower Bounds and
Identity Testing for Arithmetic Circuits";
and
Prof.
Yuval Ishai, for his project: on "Cryptography and
Complexity".
Prof. Ron
Kimmel won the ERC Advanced Grant for his project: "NORDIA - Non-Rigid
Shape Reconstruction and Deformation Analysis".
