The CS team, sponsored by
Amdocs, won a
Gold Medal (2nd place) in the
ACM ICPC (SWERC) 2010
programming contest in Madrid. The team members, supervised and conducted
by Prof. Gill Barequet, are CS students Carmi Grushko, Shahar Papini, Yaniv
Sabo and coach Kolman Vornovitsky who were selected by the faculty in the 2010
Amdocs-CS Programming Contest.
The World Finals contest will be held in
Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, on
Februarty-March 2011 and the winners will also receive the Amdocs Prize,
together with the 2010 Best Project Contest winners, in a ceremony which will
take place in the CS Department on January 2011.
