CS Ph.D student
Kira Radinsky has
received the
Yahoo! 2011 Key Scientific
Challenges (KSC) Program Award from Yahoo! Labs.
Kira won the prize for her research on "Data Mining, And Algorithms for Information Retrieval and Search"
and is one of an outstanding group of 217 proposals, from which 22 exceptional Ph.D. students
have been selected to be part of Yahoo!’s 2011 Key Scientific Challenges (KSC) Program.
The KSC Program provides support for graduate students who are conducting
research in one of Yahoo's core research areas.
