CS Students Broke Internet Most Common Routing Protocol CS students Alex Kirshon and Dima Gonikman are the winners of the 2011 Amdocs Best Project Contest. Their project "Persistent OSPF Attacks" was conducted under the supervision of r. Gabi Nakibly and Chief Engineer Itai Dabran within the facilities of the CS Laboratory for Computer Communication and Networking LCCN). The young researchers attacked the OSPF and caused its defense systems to receive their own scattered false data and thus to disrupt its autonomic system operation, prevent from messages to reach their destination and to overload the net.
