On Sunday, February 17, 2013 we were visited by Professor Kevin Ryan, former Vice President of the University of Limerick in Ireland, and Mr. Breifne O'Reilly, Ireland's Ambassador to Israel, accompanied by Mr. Alon Shtaierman, who is to begin studying in the department next Spring Semester.

The visitors met with the Faculty Dean and Vice Dean for Undergraduate Studies, visited the Geometric Image Processing lab where they received an exposition and demonstrations, by lab engineer Yaron Honen, of advanced technologies that are being developed in the lab, and also met with the Technion's Executive Vice President for Research, Professor Oded Shmueli.[Back to the news index]
