Dr. Amir Adler, CS Ph.D. graduate (co-advised by Prof. Michael Elad and Prof. Yacov Hel-Or) was appointed Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Communications. Amir's research in the CS Department focused on Machine learning and Video and image processing.

In his new position as the Chief Scientist Amir will deal with determining the strategy of the Ministry of Communication's technology standpoint, and will help to match it to the pace of technological change in Communications .
