The Technion and Microsoft R&D launch a unique project at the Systems and Software Development Laboratory of the Computer Science Faculty. The project will focus in the field of "The internet of things" and will serve the students in developing new technologies during their studies.

The design and infrastructure of the lab resembles working at an actual start-up. The design is clean and colorful and the lab is equipped with innovative programs and computers, including smartphones and tablets for running applications during the development process. This allows the students to enjoy an authentic developing environment of an R&D center or a start-up.
