CS congratulates Prof. Hagit Attiya on receiving the prestigious 2011 Edsger W. Dijkstra Prize in Distributed Computing, together with Amotz Bar-Noy and Danny Dolev, for their paper "Sharing Memory Robustly in Message-Passing Systemswhich" which appeared in the Journal of the ACM 1995.
