Prof. Seffi Naor and Prof. Roy Schwartz, with CS grads Niv Buchbinder and Moran Feldman, received the SIAM Outstanding Paper Prize for their paper "A Tight Linear Time (1/2)-Approximation for Unconstrained Submodular Maximization" which appeared in the SIAM Journal on Computing (SICOMP). Eight successful start-up companies participated in a unique vigorous fair in the computer science faculty on April 20th 2016. The participating companies were: Augury, Bidalgo, BreezoMeter, Checkmarx, Jelly Button, Kaltura, Outbrain and Zerto. Each company presented itself, its technology and challenges.
